Again and Again!

All Blacks Win Again!

On Sunday morning the final rugby world cup game happened New Zealand vs Australia. At first the All Blacks were over powering the Wallabies with 16-3. After a while the All Blacks had 21 points and the Wallabies had 3. However the Wallabies got back on track after Ben Smith was sin-binned for a tip-tackle. During the next 10 minutes the Wallabies earned some tries which got them pretty close: 21-17. However the All Blacks then earned 13 points which made them win and the game ended with Beauden Barrett making a long range try. The All Blacks won with 34-17.

Why this is a Quality Comment

This is a quality blog comment because it begins with a greeting in a different language and next to the greeting is the author’s name. It is also positive and specific. The comment also includes a question for more information. This comment also makes sense and has been proofread and at the top of the comment it has the commenter’s name and the link to their blog.

The water Can Start From Any Point

water cycle image .jpg                               How Does the Water Cycle Work?

The water can start from any point, it could just rain down or it could start from a cloud. The water evaporates. Water evaporates from puddles, lakes, oceans and anywhere else where there is water. The water evaporates when the sun shines. After the water evaporates the water turns into clouds. After the water turns into clouds they join up and become bigger clouds. Then when it starts to rain the water that evaporated turns into droplets and falls down from the sky and this happens again and again until the water falls into the reservoir and then the water gets cleaned and we drink it.

Love From Athens...

Gallipoli Peninsula

28 April 1915

Dear Mum, Dad and Brother

We have arrived here at Gallipoli by a really gigantic ship and it’s really nerve-racking here. Everywhere I look all I see around me is blood, guns, dead bodies it’s just really filthy and stomach-turning. We sleep on these large sacks. I don’t really know what’s inside those sacks. Then on top we use sheets to cover our bodies. We eat the same thing everyday but sometimes people are fortunate to get some fruit cakes, ANZAC biscuits or canned food.
I am enjoying the biscuits and letters you sent from home they are very pleasant and sweet also very supportive.

Send my love to Mum, Dad and Brother
I miss you all very terribly sometimes it’s a cheerless day...
